Over the years, the holidays have become a mixture of stress, excitement, fun, and panic. Panic? Yeppp… That thought in the back of your head that you didn’t get your mother enough gifts. Did you remember to get your grandmother anything? And the overall stress of rushing around wondering if you have enough time for everything and all of the obligations that come with the holiday season.
With all that being said, my family is planning on having a simple, low key holiday season. No big gifts, no going overboard, and hopefully: no stress or last minute panic. We will be giving significant others and family members one “main” gift, and the rest will be homemade food items, family activities, and experiences.
When I was at Sam’s Club shopping for our Holiday Coca-Cola® Bar, I made sure to grab a few extra cases of Coca-Cola® Mini Cans, Sprite® Mini Cans, Dasani®, Diet Coke® and Gold Peak® Sweet Tea for gifts this year. I have been dying to create a recipe for whiskey ‘n Coke® chocolate truffles, and now that I perfected it- everyone will be getting them this season!
A few boozy truffles paired with a cold drink, completed with a cute gift tag, will make the perfect gift for neighbors, in-laws, or even favors at your next holiday party. Place them in festive mini cupcake holders for easy decor, and finish off a cold drink with one of these adorable FREE printables below!
WARNING: These truffles are delicious. Keep away from anyone who will not be able to resist eating all of the truffle batter while you make them, or you will not have batter left for truffles! Get the simple recipe below!
