Theme parks are usually visited during the busy summer months. People usually travel to visit theme parks and enjoy all of their attractions. The following is a top ten list of theme parks to visit during the summer and why.
SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld Orlando has always been one of the top parks in the country. While it attracts millions of guests each year, SeaWorld in Orlando has decreased in guests due to an incident this past February. Even though the park is still operating, its killer whale show has made very strict changes limiting the way the trainers interact and present the whales. However, don’t make this stop you from going. They host a yearly even called SeaWorld AfterDark which features nighttime shows including a killer whale, sea lion, and fireworks show.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Feel like observing many kinds of animals this summer while riding amazing roller coasters? Well, then Busch Gardens Williamsburg is just for you. The European-themed park will delight you in every way. Its roller coasters including Alpengesit, one of the park’s best rides, will make you soar high above. Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Deep in the heart of Texas lies a park of wonders, adventure, and roller coasters. San Antonio, the Alamo City, is home to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. One of them is Azul: Lure of the Sea is a great spectacle which features pacific white-sided dolphins and gentle beluga whales while aerialists and divers perform along with them. The other one is Shamu Rocks, a nighttime production for the star of the park, Shamu, the killer whale. SeaWorld San Antonio is also one of the most visited parks in the country now that tourism increases in the Alamo City.
Busch Gardens Tampa
This Africa-themed park is located in South Florida. This park is home to many different species of animals and also has a grand variety of shows including a KaTonga, a animal-themed musical production. It is also home to many concerts during Summer Nights.
SeaWorld San Diego
California is another place where you can enjoy killer whales, dolphins, sea lions, sharks, and other marine life at SeaWorld. As mentioned before, their killer whale show was also affected by the incident last February, however, SeaWorld San Diego recently opened a new dolphin-show called, Blue Horizons, where sea meets sky…meets spectacular. This high-energy fast-paced show features different species of dolphins, pilot whales, as well as birds. The show is about a girl that journeys into a big adventure.
