How To Host A Silly String Gender Reveal
With our second baby, we wanted to do something super fun for our gender reveal. And in the times of Covid-19, we wanted to keep it small and socially distanced as well. What better way to do that than with a silly string gender reveal?! Everyone will be at least 6 feet away- in fact, the farther away they are, the better the reveal and photos.
We were so excited to find out we are welcoming another BOY into our family! I highly recommend either hiring a photographer for the reveal, or designating a trusted friend or family member to be in charge of getting some photos. You will not want to miss getting your family’s reaction- especially if it is a surprise for you like it was for us!
Also make sure to reserve a few cans of silly string for “touch up” silly stringing for additional photos for your announcements on social media or just as a keepsake.
A silly string gender reveal was also one of the cheap gender reveal ideas we came across. We were able to snag everything at our local Dollar Tree to DIY the cans of silly string and get everything else needed for our small party.
We chose to have the colors Pink & Blue represent whether we were having a Boy or Girl. You can use any colors you want!
