Merry Berry Mermaid Drop Recipe
Summer is getting so close, I can taste it! And what I mean by that, is I can taste this delicious merry berry mermaid drop. As I walked by the berry section in my local store, I couldn’t help but take a deep whiff and imagine myself lounging by the pool with a cold cocktail in hand.
Lemon drops are my all time favorite cocktail, and since I was having the girls over for a lazy afternoon by the pool, I thought I’d step it up with some drool-worthy ingredients- Absolut® America Vodka (which has no artificial ingredients), fresh juices, homemade simple syrup, and even edible glitter!
I absolutely *teehee* love using Absolut® Vodka in all of my cocktail recipes! Merry Berry Mermaid Drop:
Makes 2 cocktails
Ingredients:
- 2oz Absolut® America Vodka
- 2oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2oz Simple Syrup
- 1 Tbs. Crushed Blackberries
- 1 Tbs. Crushed Raspberries
- Edible Glitter, if desired
Simple Syrup:
- ½ C. Water
- ½ C. Sugar
Directions:
- In a small saucepan, bring ½ cup of water to a low boil. Add in the sugar, stir until dissolved, and set aside to cool and thicken.
- Fill a medium shaker with ice, and add in the Absolut® vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and crushed berries.
- Shake until chilled all the way through and the berries have tinted the drink.
- Pour into two martini glasses and garnish with fresh berries.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
