Snow Day Ice Cream
We’ve finally had the first snow of the year in Portland, and that means: Sledding, Hot Chocolate, and Snow Day Ice Cream!
Snow Day Ice Cream is one of the easiest and quickest treats to make during the Winter season, and will be in constant demand. There are only five ingredients and it takes less than five minutes for it to be ready to eat. Look below for the recipe!
Ingredients:
- Fresh, clean snow
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
Place the milk and beaten eggs in a large bowl.
Add the sugar.
Beat until well blended.
Add vanilla extract.
Start adding in your clean, fresh snow.
Keep adding snow until you get the consistency you want.
Mix well until completely incorporated.
Serve immediately with your favorite toppings!

Looks a fun activity to try with my kids on winter break – if we end up getting any snow here in East TN.
