There are very few shows that I am interested in enough to watch every week instead of just binge watching, but I didn’t miss an episode of the hit show, 9-1-1 last season! Between the drama, action, and romance, you couldn’t afford to just wait around for it to all be on-demand. And this season? It is going to be even better! 9-1-1 will be having a special 2 Night Premiere on September 23rd and 24th at 9/8c along with the premiere of The Resident on September 24th at
8/7c only, so make sure you order some pizza and clear your schedule. You won’t want to miss this!
I was beyond thrilled when I was invited down to L.A. to take a sneak peek at extended trailers and even some interviews from the casts of the shows for season 2 and now I get to share some of the juicy details with you.
There will be new adventures, characters, and definitely some new flings in season 2 of 9-1-1. I am especially excited to see Jennifer Love Hewitt on screen. She will be playing Maddie Buckley, Buck’s sister. She is on the run from an abusive relationship, so Buck helps hide her in the one place he knows she will be safe – near him as a 9-1-1 emergency telephone operator.
Another spicy character added to the show is Ryan Guzman as the very “sexy” (their words, and mine too!) Eddie Diaz, a new firefighter alongside the crew you know and love.
And The Resident is going to be packed with all the drama and romance you can think of, which may or may not include some details on Nic and Conrad. 😉 Speaking of drama, writer Harthan even alluded to deaths earlier this month when he said he hoped for viewers “to get attached to all of these characters this season, because… not everyone survives Season 2.”
I had not seen any episodes of The Resident before seeing the trailer for season 2, so I immediately started binging at the airport on the way back to rainy Portland. I cannot wait for the season premiere and can’t imagine what you have gone through having to wait this whole time! The Resident will be premiering right before 9-1-1 on September 24th only on FOX!
